English

About The Book

This work examines the evolutionary relationships among different species of moray eels as well as the population-level patterns of variation within four species of moray eels. Using a combination of mitochondrial and nuclear DNA evolutionary relationships are unraveled and used to ask important questions about biogeography and the evolution of morphological features. Within species analysis reveal high levels of gene flow and connectivity across vast swaths of the Indo-Pacific.
