Excess and Reduction in Samuel Beckett

This book is the outcome of many years of study in the field of Beckett studies collating research taken from my three dissertations (MA MPhil PhD) on Samuel Beckett''s oeuvre. It is focussed primarily on his early years and it seeks to trace elements of those early steps throughout Beckett''s further works. I am of course indebted to Prof. Pilling''s formidable supervision at Reading University and to the resources made available to the University by the BIF (UK).
