Exercise Interventions in Acute Exacerbation of COPD

This book provides insight of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in detail with its correlation to anxiety and depression. This book explains acute exacerbation of COPD and its Patho-physiological changes in Respiratory system which has deleterious effects on person''s aerobic endurance to perform daily activities. It also explains various controlled breathing exercise interventions to relive symptoms of acute exacerbation. finally a detail exercise program is given to the patient and proved that controlled breathing and early mobilization were very effective in AECOPD for reliving dyspnea anxiety and depression and improving endurance of walking. diagrams and graphical presentation is given to show the effectiveness of controlled breathing and early mobilization interventions.
