<p>The book titled Experiences in practicing Professional Management" is a very well written book giving detailed information about the experiences in practicing professional management in private sector and public sector highly reputed companies. In working in the private sector companies the responsibilities are high but adequate authorities are provided to fulfill the responsibilities. In public sector companies the responsibilities are limited and there is no accountability. Performance is not only the criteria to evaluate the employees; many other traits are required such as sycophancy (चमचागिरी). Whereas in private sector the responsibilities are enormous and performance is the main criteria for rewarding the employees and little importance is given to sycophancy as well. In dealing with projects the senior level executives have to deal with difficult and demanding politicians and press who to demand favors from the private companies. The book gives full account of experiences of author who worked in private and public sector companies at junior level and at high positions. At junior level there is not enough scope for dealing with difficult situations whereas at higher positions the person faces difficult situations every day and no one is there to provide solutions. He has to come out of that'situation himself that too successfully. </p>
