About The Book

This book delves into the experiences of Ghanaian Junior High School (JHS) students on school discipline and teachers'' choice of disciplinary measures. These experiences are observed through a non-participatory approach from sampled Governmental Junior High Schools in the Effutu Municipality a fishing community in the Central Region of Ghana. The chapters evolved from literature review conducted by the author with 36 respondents from 2 main unique schools. The findings or narrations captured in the book would serve as a reference guide to various researchers teachers and stakeholders on the stake of students viewpoints regarding school discipline as well as the measures adopted. It would further create awareness on the kind of disciplinary measures students consider appropriate to enhance effective classroom / school interactions.
