This Lab Manual Herbal Technology is based on the New PCI syllabus of B.pharm Sixth Semester. This manual provides details about Preliminary Phytochemical screening of crude drugs determination of the alcohol of Asava and Arista and evaluation of excipients of natural origin. It also includes standardized extract in cosmetic formulations like creams lotions and shampoos and their evaluation monograph analysis of herbal drugs from recent pharmacopeias and determination of Aldehyde content. It involves the determination of phenol content and the determination of total alkaloids.
