Study of erosion caused by the crucially important for various industries such as transportation of abrasive particles production systems in oil and gas industries hydraulic machines pumps mining industry etc. Failures caused by erosion have detrimental & severe safety issues as well as economic consequences. The need for durable span of service is very tuned to the reduction of the maintenance cost. This gives motivation for many research labs and industries for experimental testing of the slurry erosion. Thus there is need to have some basic study material which can enable the students budding researchers and professional to provide testing guidelines for experimental methods of slurry flow wear. This book has been intended by the authors to serve this purpose at its outset.
