Explicitation of Ellipsis in persian Translations of Nahjulbalagha

Nahjulbalagha is the message of Imam Ali.The way these ellipses are treated as becoming explicit or even left unchanged or implicit is being surveyed.This study examined the explicitation of ellipses in Nahjulbalagha within three Persian translations of the Nahjulbalagha by Jafar Shahidi Taghi Jafari and Javad Fazel. The translations were contrasted with the original sentences containing ellipsis and then compared with each other in order to discover the most frequently used strategy. In case of any explicitation technique the researcher applied Klaudy''s (1993) typology of this technique to find the most frequent type of explicitation of ellipses in Imam Ali''s Epistle to Malik Ashtar translation.
