Exploring Social Emotional Learning in Diverse Academic Settings

With the advent of the recent pandemic there is a rise in levels of stress and anxiety among teachers and students (Dabrowski 2020). This edited volume will serve to highlight unique and varied approaches to addressing social-emotional learning and well-being in educational settings. The aim of this text will be to feature a broad perspective on the topic presenting approaches from a range of educational locations and contexts. This work will have appeal for anyone seeking ways to develop SEL practices within and outside of the field of education and will serve to offer approaches others can replicate for their own approach to SEL. The theme of this text will support the culmination of research the authors have conducted on this topic and the interest we have in researching and sharing the work of others--
