Exports and Employment Nexus in Nigeria

Employment generation is a critical issue in many developing countries. Several factors affecting employment in these countries have been identified in economic literature one of which is trade flows specifically imports. However the role of exports in employment generation particularly within sectors of an economy is less observed. This book solves this gap by investigating empirically the role of exports in sectoral employment within the developing country context using Nigeria as a case study. It employs time series econometric techniques in its analysis and provides plausible results that are needful for policy makers and economists globally.
