Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the cause of death from cancer in women worldwide (Jemal et al. 2011) The incidence of breast cancer in the world ranges from 1.38 million new cases per year and deaths from breast cancer ranges from 458 400 (Jemal et al. 2011) Data from Jakarta cancer registry shows that breast cancer is the cancer with the highest incidence with 18.6 incidents per 100000 population per year(Wahidin et al. 2012) The majority of breast cancer patients in Indonesia comes in an advanced stage 63% in stage III and IV at diagnosis(Rhodes and Yip 2011) Internal data Wahidin Sudirohusodo hospital Makassar in 2014 Chemotherapy performed on 247 patients with breast cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy 145 (59%) and adjuvant 102 (41%) the cumulative response rate to chemotherapy; 2% complete response partial response 78% 15% stable disease progressive disease of 5%(Prihantono et al 2015)
