Expressions

This compilation of poems has been birthed through many challenging experiences as a daughter sister girl friend mother wife and employee. I discovered that life was not a bed of roses. The discovery of journaling and later using poetry to express my private self in hopes of surviving my public self is what has helped to frame my thinking today. Poetry has become a way of healing for me. It is my heart's desire that my boldness in expressing myself through the use of poetry will give many permission to address their needs and to move on to live fulfilled lives.
