Eyes Closed Volume I

I was the sunshine hidden behind the clouds drenched in rain. My smile was radiant strong enough to make people ache with childlike joy. I myself only a child had no knowledge of the world's destruction around me. There was no heartbreak and melancholy just playgrounds and tea parties because I was too young to understand the meaning of my father's drinking or another man's roaming hands. I was a child. Free and willing and happy as I jumped into every situation eyes closed.
