Eyes in a Storm

About The Book

On April 8 1998 a powerful tornado plowed through a quiet spring night in the suburbs of Birmingham Alabama. In a thirty-mile path of destruction the storm killed thirty-two people injured 252 other victims and left thousands of families homeless. Eyes in a Storm is the story of how a brave group of rescue workers fought to save lives that night and how they struggled to recover their own in the years that followed.
