Here we report the first direct synthesis of β-CD/gypsum (β.Ca-H) highly ordered functional material simply by using β-Cyclodextrin and calcium sulfate. The hybrid material is distinctively aligned which reveals a drastic change in chemo-physical properties. Optical switching of a Multi Responsive Solvatofluorochromic Dye and Dye/β-CD Inclusion Complex were also investigated. Dye/β-CD inclusion complex molecular rearrangements by isomerozation transformations were also observed and investigated in detail.
