Faces

Faces leads the reader on a journey through an experience of suffering appreciation and love. It expresses the hurt of being queer in the Middle East and the rejection created by the inner conflict between soul and desire in one body. Breathless frightened and in denial Nalla is a Middle Eastern queer surviving daily life in many different countries and cultures and expresses the harsh reality with well-crafted figures from a personal yet universal perspective. From a painful heart in flame Nalla blew its glowing embers and ashes into the pages of Faces.
