Factors Affecting Sport Participation of Undergraduates

This particular book titled Factors Affecting Sport Participation of Undergraduates” was carried out with special reference to the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. This study was thoroughly undertaken by the researcher by focusing on the problem that was identified from the preliminary three years observations and through the records of Physical Education Department of the University of Kelaniya. The key objective of this study is ‘to identify the factors for decrease sport participation’.The greatest contribution of the present study is the demonstration of interpretable patterns of physical activity participation among local University students.This study has implications for leadership in sport administration and management particularly with respect to effort persistence and commitment to organizing physical activities and sports programs in University in Sri Lanka.
