Factors affecting willingness to pay for curative health service

About The Book

In Ethiopia recent studies regarding factors affecting willingness to pay health care services for different preventive and curative once are very minimal and even majority of them focused on specific interventions. With the scarcity of health facilities per population in the county and within district and the low socio–economic status and other factors of the residents the willingness to pay for curative services is critically affected and compromised the overall health service utilization. Hence the current status of factors affecting willingness to pay for curative service needs to be well assessed at different parts of the country including this district. The paper has investigated the possible factors affecting the residents’ willingness to pay for curative services.
