This study investigates the “Level of Inhibition amongst Trained Secondary School Teachers in the Context of Professionally Learned Teaching Methodologies. A Case of Notre Dame Institute of Education”. The sample of the study include 120 graduates of NDIE from 12 different cities of Pakistan working under 10 different types of school systems. Questionnaire was used to collect data from the research participants and the study sample included NDIE graduates of years 2007 to 2011. The responses of research participants relating to different research hypothesis are presented in percentages and they were further analysed using correlation. The findings of the study are in lined with the literature reviewed as these indicate that inhibition in using learning methodologies is caused due to poor grip over the content individual characteristics lack of support from the administration rarely provided professional development opportunities non supportive working environment large number of students in the class low salaries of teachers non expertise of teachers to integrate technology into teaching and inadequate post training support from teacher education institution.
