Factors Contributing to Neglected Oral Hygiene Among Adult Patients

The study was aimed at assessing factors contributing to neglected oral hygiene among patients attending MBH Luzira with the following objectives. To establish oral hygiene practices to assess the knowledge on oral hygiene and to establish the impact of patients’ occupation on oral hygiene of patients who visit luzira dental clinic. The study was non interventional cross-sectional descriptive study involving self administration of questionnaires to collect quantitative data and interview schedule to collect qualitative data. Convenient and non probability sampling technique was used here the patient who happened to be available at the time of data collection were selected in the sampling sample size of 50 patients were used.
