Factors of Occupational Stress

In a very aggressive fast-paced environmentcompetition significantly moderates behavior andindividuals invest more time and effort into theirwork in order to maintain the existing pace set byothers. Many factors involved with this increasedburden cause a number of negative consequences oneof which is stress. Occupational stress is a verysignificant issue which negatively affects theindividual the family of that individual and theemploying organizationThis study investigated the possible relationshipsamong gender job satisfaction organizationalcommitment and occupational stress levels. Possibleinteractions with gender and job satisfaction as wellas gender and organizational commitment onoccupational stress were also explored. Participantsincluded employees from three organizations: anorthopedic clinic social service office and organand tissue donation company.
