The author of this book Dinesh Patel is an Air warrior with a Background in Military service in the Indian Air Force. He also participated in the 1971 Indo - Pakistan war. Life in the Military is very demanding hard and tough full of sacrifices; in comparison to civil life. The main aspect of military training is it inculcates patriotism and extreme courage. In this book the author explains how failure paves the way toward winning. But a win is achieved only if one has the courage and tenacity to convert FAIL TO WIN. The author has shown the courage to frankly admit his failure causes and resolute moves to win from tricky fail situations. This book reminds me of the epic war of Mahabharat; wherein Warrior Abhimnyu dares to penetrate Chakra View ( CV). He had knowledge of how to penetrate CV but not how to escape. In our lives we also inadvertently enter such CVs. Once we enter then we are unable to come out of it. And no one can help you as they advise you from outside without comprehending the gravity of the situation. Sometimes we ourself create such CVs and enter them getting totally trapped. The author has highlighted this phenomenon in the correct terms. He has also emphasized that if one has the courage and is truthful then the path can be found to come out. The author also emphasizes that You and only You have to find way out from CV; as he has done himself successfully. The book has historical incidents examples from the business world and quotes from prominent personalities at appropriate places; which helps to understand the narrative aptly. This book is MUST READ for Businessmen CEOs sales and marketing persons and management students and ponder on lessons learned.
