FAITH SEEKING PRAXIS

This Volume looks at the christian faith from a subaltern perspective to encourage the Indian Christian Community to have a liberating outlook in its witness in society.The success of Christian witness depends on the ability to discern the signs of times and space and develop relevant theological and sociological responses to the issues ( Spiritual and material) of the peopleparticularly the subalterns.The task of contemporary theologizing is to enable Christians to seek the praxis of faith in context.The Christian faith becomes 'useful' to others when its practitioners search for different avenues of praxis in the contemporary context.We need new partners of witnessingnew thinking on community faith-lifenew ways of ecumenical witnessnew expressions of theologyand new ways of responding to social concerns.The search for newness makes our witness meaningful in today's world.
