FALCIFORM EXPERIENCES OF WOMEN'S EXISTENCE

This course completion paper is one of the outcomes of the scientific initiation project entitled Biomedicine genetic disease and citizenship: an anthropological study on sickle cell disease health practices and struggles for health care/rights in the state of Paraíba Brazil. Aiming to study and understand the life experiences of women with Sickle Cell Disease (SD) in João Pessoa Paraíba. That is starting from the assumption that their experiences of life and illness go beyond reproductive and maternity-related issues.
