Hes on his way to Belgrade the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia to direct his first feature film the start of his career as Stephen Crawford Director and Hollywood Legend. The production is his first-and possibly his last-chance to make something of himself as a filmmaker. Hes also in a struggle to redeem himself with those he loves.The movie hell be directing is an ultra-low-budget horror flick that he hopes to turn into a cinematic masterpiece. However with the rise of Slobodan Milosevic and the fall of Communism the country behind the Iron Curtain in which the shoot takes place is about to explode into brutal warring fragments. Revolution duplicitous producers rebellious actors colliding cultures-a maelstrom of conflict lies ahead. But worst of all this stranger in a strange land must face the consequences of betrayal.
