Welcome to the most dangerous real estate in the galaxy! Psychologist Michael Nadir is sent out to the distant Hod system to find out why so many asteroid miners are committing suicide. At once he learns that miners are insular anti-social depressed and dangerous. When he gets dragged into an adventure with seemingly unstable Hannelore Lott he learns that he will have to start thinking--and behaving--like a miner if he wants to survive.
