In 1851 Crow Dog and his Comanche tribe take Sara Johns hostage; but after only seven months they cast Sara and her mysterious doll aside fearing they are Death Spirits. While the Reconstruction Era is passing into history some speak of Sara as Confederate campfire trash still others tell of her sheer elegance her abilities as a deadly gunfighter or her perceptive business instincts.
