Farewell to Innocence

In John Boekenoogen’s first novel Farewell to Innocence a young man’s life is radically altered when he learns that what seems like an ordinary life is far from ordinary. Following a car accident this history teacher learns that he is actually a reincarnated Prime Minister who was stricken down by a wicked power hungry man. Combining hard core science fiction with legends of Native American folk lore the author has created a story that is adventurous and full of excitement. The way this author merges modern day situations with that of inter-galactic mystery is reminiscent of the writings of noted science fiction author Ray Bradbury.
