Currently animal production on an agroecological basis has been a much-discussed topic in several countries. With the population's growing concern about the change in food consumption patterns and animal production systems many producers are already aware of the need to use appropriate technologies with a view to balancing the entire production chain involved in the agro-ecosystem. One of the points to be considered in agroecological animal husbandry systems is the implementation of facilities and management practices.
