A collection of memorial biographies of Farmington’s late ministers presiding from 1645 to 1937. Author Mabel Hurlburt wrote in the “With no thought of attempted comparisons each of the subjects of these biographical sketches projects his own personality through records letters sermons and family recollections. Each in his own appointed time and place made his best efforts to fulfill the duties which he was appointed to serve. Each presents even between the lines a friend a teacher guide and minister necessary not only to the church but to the town.
