Fast Phil

Fast Phil is a real pheasant who lives in Kristin Jacksons woods. Phil is not like other pheasants. He likes to wait at the bottom of Kristins driveway for someone to get home. Then he jumps out of cover and races the car or truck up the hill to the house.Illustrator and photographer JoAnne Pionessas work often features the rural landscapes of western New York State as well as the wildlife and birds including the pheasants right outside her window.
