Fate of a Concubine

Though she was from a poor family Mata grew up to be a happy and beautiful girl admired by all. At a tender age she fell in love and was very happy to be loved by a hero of the village. The lovers had to hide their love from their parents due to cultural reasons but where nonetheless happy with their secret. Somehow happiness deserted Mata when parental decision forced her into marrying an old cattleman. Then the whisperer came and things started to happen.
