Feed Additives and Feeding High Roughage in Ruminants

While wheat straw was used in animal nutrition; the most amount of rice straw was lost or burnt. Maximized the utilization of these roughages via improving its digestibility by using some feed additives; tended to increase animal production and decrease use of concentrate feed mixture. Evaluating the effects of some feed additives add to lactating buffaloes rations rich in wheat straw & rice straw and berseem on digestibility metabolism some blood parameters and milk production & composition of Egyptian lactating buffaloes.
