<p>Farhad an ambitious young man and his wife Zenobia move into the sophisticated Malabar Hill area but their devoted old maid Savitri resists modernity repeatedly clashing with a neighbour Malti.</p><p></p><p>Farhad wants to chat up Malti's husband Sudhir chairman of a bank who can help his business but a carefully planned social evening ends in bedlam as wives clash over Zenobia's beloved dog and Savitri's middle class ways.
