Sometimes they lead us astray.</p><p><em>Feel</em> helps children recognise their emotions reflect on them and learn that feelings aren't good or bad but messages to be understood.</p><p>Emotional literacy is one of the strongest predictors of social success and self-regulation. Children who can name and understand their feelings are more likely to cooperate show empathy and navigate stress with confidence. Learning how feelings can bias them is <em>metacognition</em>: the ability to reflect on their own thinking. This is a strong indicator of reasoning ability.</p><p><em>Feel</em> is their first step in learning all this.</p>
