Women entrepreneurs are increasingly present in economies at all levels of development. They are a source of curiosity when it comes to understanding the factors behind their performance. In Cameroon the form of enterprise that most characterizes them remains the Très Petite Entreprise (VSE). In traditional studies the tools used do not take into account the specificity of gender in explaining performance. The same criteria are used for both men and women. The theory of social feminism which states that women have a specific Mode of Knowledge offers a coherent explanatory framework for analyzing the difference in performance between men and women. The difference in performance according to this theory is no longer due to discrimination against women but rather to the failure to take into account the Female Mode of Knowledge what we call Female Potential. This book attempts to highlight the factors that explain women's performance.
