Present research study analyzes feminism in modern women writers’ works. This study focuses on feminism in the works of two confessional poets in 20th century: Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton. This research study includes Chapter (I): Introduction Chapter (II): Feminism and Modern Women writers Chapter (III): Feminism in Sylvia Plath’s Selected works Chapter (IV): Feminism in Anne Sexton’s Selected Works and Chapter (V): Conclusion. The researcher has done a survey of feminism and modern women writers in chapter (I). Feminism has become a dominant force in contemporary literary criticism. It has made a considerable advancement during a small period of time. It is difficult to define feminism accurately as there are arguments among feminists. But the researcher defines Feminism as a mode of critical discourse which emphasizes culturally determined gender differences in the interpretation of literary works in present study. Feminism generally focuses on the history of male dominance and oppression in all aspects of life.
