Feminism : General and Indian perspective
English

About The Book

The term feminism was first used by the famous fictional socialist Charles Fourier in the 19th century. There are three types of feminism - (i) liberal feminism (ii) socialist feminism (iii) radical feminism. Liberal feminism emphasizes the liberal philosophy of equality liberty and justice. Socialist feminist ideology has been expressed in the form of the womens liberation movement.  It opposes the gender-based division of labour. Radical feminism coordinates the patriarchal analysis and the class analysis of the Marxists.
