<p>We've all read stories and novels about feral children. Children raised in the wilds by lions tigers bears apes and whatever beast mama was wandering about looking for a child. The stories have always had a place on our bookshelves. Plutarch wrote about Romulus and Remus about two thousand years ago. Rudyard Kipling's <strong>Jungle Book </strong>was written in the 1800s. Tarzan the jungle lord is an important part of our culture. Feral children hold a special fascination for those of us raised in civilized surroundings.
