FGG vs CTG in increasing the width of attached gingiva

FGG and CTG have stable and predictable outcomes for increasing the width of attached gingiva. Both these procedures are technique sensitive and hence reviewed for their long term stability and success tissue augmentation. Alternate methods where esthetics are taken into consideration have also been studied and reviewed. Both clinicians and patients point of view at cost effectiveness and more stable outcomes as well reviewed from various studies conducted so far have been mentioned.
