Filling time series gaps with Fourier series

Based on a set of wind speed data from a meteorological tower located at the Almirante Álvaro Alberto Nuclear Power Plant (CNAAA) in Angra dos Reis - RJ a methodology was proposed using Fourier Series Transforms and Inverse Transforms as an interpolation technique to fill gaps in wind time series. The results were satisfactory indicating that the technique presented in this book can be used as a methodology for filling gaps in wind time series.
