Filthy Little Games

<p><strong>Zara:</strong></p><p></p><p>Life has a sick sense of humor. One minute I'm arguing with my mobster ex while dripping wet in nothing but a towel. The next he's dead on the floor and I'm naked vulnerable and at the sole mercy of the most dangerous man in New York City. </p><p>I've heard the rumors that all the mafia families bow to Creed Ferraro but I never expected him to drag me into their world. </p><p>Creed blames me for his brother's death and now I'm also a witness to his violent crime. </p><p>I know the rules. In the mafia witnesses and enemies don't get to live.</p><p>Creed is unpredictable though. </p><p>I should be terrified of him but he killed my ex to save my life. </p><p>And I can't ignore the twisted sense of safety that comes with being near the ruthless mobster.  </p><p></p><p><strong>Creed:</strong></p><p></p><p>Someone in my city wants me dead. </p><p>The fools missed and killed my little brother instead.</p><p>Now vengeance burns in my veins and nothing will stop me from hunting down the cowards responsible for his death.</p><p>Killing my ally's son in a fit of rage? Not part of the plan even if he deserved to die. I couldn't stand to watch him lay another hand on <em>her</em>. </p><p>Zara. </p><p>Not only is she responsible for setting me and my brother up she's also seen too much. One wrong word from her lips and we're both dead or serving a life sentence.</p><p>I can't let her go but keeping her close is dangerous - for both of us especially since she's hiding secrets from me that may start a mafia war in New York City. </p><p>The more time I spend with Zara though the harder it is to remember why she's a threat.</p><p>That's why I make her a deal to keep her by my side. </p><p> The only way she gets to live is if she agrees to become my wife. </p>
