Finally Ever After

<p>Without a doubt when I meet him I'll know.</p><p>The love of my life will speak and his voice will sound familiar- the melody of my favorite song.</p><p>Our eyes will connect and I'll see forever in his soul - visions of swinging on the porch while our grandchildren gather.</p><p>His scent will comfort me as much as Mama's Sunday dinners - it'll remind me of home.</p><p>But if that's true the first time we met I would have known.</p><p>How would I not recognize my happily ever after was within reach?</p><p>I would have tightened my grip and not let him slip away.</p><p>But now that I know it's him it's the two of us till the end.</p>
