In this monograph we will try to reveal the features of a new financial instrument - cryptocurrency. 2017 was the year of the breakthrough of modern digital technology the year of the real growth of digital currency - Any good is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. We usually use some kind of currency as a measurement. But what happens when the value of the currency itself comes into question? BITCOIN. You can have different attitudes to this phenomenon - but unequivocally you can''t ignore it. Today when modern technology is firmly embedded in common people''s lives and Internet fights over the budget of someone else''s country are perceived as a family tragedy the appearance of something new in the virtual financial relations arouses burning curiosity to say the least. And such a phenomenon today is Bitcoin a virtual means of payment that is now controversial around the world. What is it?! What is it for? Can it be used should it be used or shouldn''t it be used? And if not how? How can one be sure that it is not a fake or a hype? Is this really a serious niche for investment? Will I be able to make money on it?
