Finding My Truth

I am presenting my story of how I left the Christian church studied different religions joined a cult (The Hebrew Israelites) and traveled across the world in search of spiritual truth only to find out that the Kingdom of God is within me. When I was a child attendance at church was mandatory. While at church I felt myself suffocating like someone was sapping the life out of me. When I became old enough to make decisions for myself I knew I would leave the Christian religion. I would be the first one in my family to openly acknowledge that I did not believe in Jesus Christ. I thought leaving Christianity meant that my family could possibly disown me but later on in my journey I found out that was not the case. I figured out at an early age that I did not have to be a Christian to know God. This book is about my journey to find God the people I encountered along the way and how I came to finally understand the Universal God that exists in all of us.
