Finding My Voice: A Book of Firsts

As early as second grade I discovered a passion for American history. John Lewis marched with Martin Luther King Jr. during the civil rights movement. John Lewis inspired me to become involved as an advocate for common sense gun control climate change racial justice voting rights and peaceful demonstrations. I met John Lewis in 2018 and he asked if I would help lead the march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma Alabama. It is important for me to share my journey in the pursuit of good trouble.
