Finding Yesterday One Memory At A Time

<p>Yesterday seemed so long ago and then I remembered. It's in writing my writings. Growing up in a small northern Michigan town graduating high school in the mid-fifties writing has always intrigued me. In my late twenties the opportunity to write a weekly column in the local newspaper was a wonderful gift from the editor. From then on it was a thought here a memory there; jot it down for later. A sixty-two-year marriage three sons two grandchildren five great-grandchildren owning and operating a Hallmark shop raising sheep living on a small farm what's not to write about? Think of the opportunity to lead our church's choir for twenty-nine years without a formal music education; later becoming a lay speaker in our denomination. I never imagined a book would become a gathering place for my memories. There are a long line of yesterday's waiting in this book. </p><p></p><p>I hope you'll read and enjoy them with me.</p>
