Finite Element Analysis of Convective Heat and Mass Transfer

About The Book

In this book we analyzed the combined Soret and the dissipative effects on the free convective heat and mass transfer flow of a viscous fluid through a porous horizontal channel Vertical channel Elliptic Duct Rectangular cavity enclosing a fully saturated porous medium in the presence of a constant heat source The Brinkman model is used for the momentum transport. The Galerkin finite element analysis is carried out to discuss the heat and mass transfer through a porous medium using serendipity element. The velocity temperature and concentration distributions are analyzed computationally for different variations in the governing parameters. The Shear stress rate of heat and mass transfer are calculated for different D inverse NSc Soalpha SGEc variations are also investigated computationally.
