Ringed on three sides by more affluent suburbs and hemmed in by urban sprawl Westfield New York had become No Town - the place that time forgot - until Coach Angelo Fish Fischetti and his woebegone Westfield Wildcats decided that it was just about time that people remembered. With little regard for the rules and even less for the consequences Fish leads his ragtag pack of Mildcats on an epic journey to restore Westfields wounded pride and rebuild his own tarnished reputation.
