Fisheries and Blue Economy

<p><span style=color: rgba(23 43 77 1)>This reprint brings together a selection of papers on the role of fisheries and aquaculture in the blue economy presenting research on the challenges and opportunities for developing fisheries and aquaculture under the sustainable blue economy concept. The results highlight options for developing the blue economy to enable the potential role of fisheries in Africa and Asia and elsewhere to realise benefits of blue economy development including food security and poverty reduction that can be realised through the sustainable development of fishery resources.</span></p>
